Kelly weins
Kelly Weins is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) who specializes in supporting athletes in mastering the mental side of their sport to perform at their best when it matters most. This may encompass working on your ability to focus or refocus, learning how to manage stress, developing confidence, finding your motivation, and more. Kelly takes a holistic approach, understanding that the athlete faces many different pressures, and that there are many factors, even outside of sport, that play into performance. Kelly strives to support you in achieving goals both on the field and in your life.
Kelly grew up as an athlete, trying many sports such as diving, soccer, dance and horseback riding. Gymnastics is where she landed and continued through the end of high school, and in college she was on the diving and the club crew teams. Through her years in sports, while battling various injuries and setbacks, she found her passion in supporting other athletes to excel in their sport, keeping their passion alive and navigating the highs and lows that come with sports and life.
Kelly graduated from Susquehanna University with a B.S. in psychology, and then from Springfield College with a M.Ed. in Counseling with a focus on Athletic Counseling. She then received her CMPC certification through the Association for Applied Sports Psychology (AASP). Kelly has experience working with high school and college level athletes, both individually and as teams, in sports such as gymnastics, track, cross country, tennis, basketball, soccer, football, hockey and lacrosse. She also has experience working with athletes who have suffered injuries and are trying to navigate a time when they are not able to follow their passion by supporting them through their challenges and concerns while they are unable to return to the sport they love.
